General Information

Sunshiyu Wang is a master’s student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he conducts research with the Music Informatics Group under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Lerch. His research interests include music information retrieval, with a focus on beat tracking, music classification, data augmentation, and generative audio for sound effects. He is also interested in audio and music related human computer interaction, spatial audio, and virtual reality. In addition, he is a music producer and audio engineer with formal training in classical music, popular music production, and recording studio practice.

Machine learning for music and audio, with an emphasis on music data augmentation, beat and rhythm analysis, voice conversion, and immersive interactive audio systems.
